WeMove Europe, an independent and values-based organization dedicated to building people power to transform Europe, has announced an exciting opening for a remote Digital Campaigner. This is an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to join a fast-paced team campaigning for a better Europe on critical issues ranging from the climate crisis to migration.
Important Note on Location
Please be aware that this ‘Digital Campaigner’ is a remote position, but it is restricted to candidates who are based in the countries where WeMove Europe is registered to work. These countries are the UK, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, and Poland. Applications from people based outside of these countries will not be considered.
About the Role
As a Digital Campaigner, you will be responsible for developing and leading campaigns from the planning phase through to execution. This is a dynamic role that involves strategic thinking and creative digital tactics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing strong, compelling copy for emails and social media that results in members taking action.
- Managing email communications and analyzing user engagement data using online tools like ActionKit.
- Running ads on platforms like Meta to optimize campaigns for growth and impact.
- Building and maintaining relationships with partner NGOs and movements across the EU.
- Organizing “offline” actions such as demonstrations and petition handovers.
Who WeMove Europe is Looking For
WeMove Europe is seeking a candidate who is passionate about creating change and is comfortable empowering people to become agents of that change. The ideal Digital Campaigner will have:
- Excellent writing skills in English.
- A results-driven and data-driven mindset, with a keen interest in running tests and improving their work.
- Comfort with new software, online tools, and all things digital.
- Some experience with non-partisan political campaigning (online experience is a bonus).
- A strong understanding of the political and social context in the European country where they live.
